Access after sign-in. A birdwatchers heaven. See how the city of Stockton has turned part of the wastewater treatment plant into a wetland and birdwatching mecca. Over 55 bird species visit the wetlands year round.



Downtown Lodi Farmers Market & Festival

Every Thursday from July 1st – September 30, 5 p.m.

Downtown Lodi Business Partnership hosts The Downtown Certified Farmers Market. The family-friendly market is held every Thursday evening beginning in June throughout the end of September. Over 25 certified farmers offer an array of fresh produce, wine and flowers. 50 homemade and commercial arts and crafts vendors line the streets of downtown, attracting over 5,000 attendees each week. An upscale beer and wine garden which showcases local breweries and wineries is located adjacent from the entertainment stage. The stage hosts live music performed by local bands, along with dance performances, comedy acts and competitions. The entertainment also includes theme nights such as Hawaiian, Mardi Gras, Country Western and Patriotic, where there are free giveaways, contests and family fun. The Food Court accompanies the market offering a wide variety of choices including hot dogs, BBQ, salads, Philippine cuisine, snow cones, smoothies and more. A Kids Zone invites kids of all ages to jump in bouncing houses, get their face painted and interact with clowns, balloon artists and animals. The Farmers Market is Lodi’s summer signature event that has something for everyone!

Stocktoberfest 2010

Activities throughout the night will include lovely ladies in German dress, keg lifting competitions, chicken dance dance-offs and, of course, beer stein holding competitions. Enjoy live entertainment ranging from polka to rock, brats and over 10 brews and food booths! Modeled after a German Oktoberfest, Stocktoberfest seating will be outdoors on long benches and tables and the festival will open with the tapping of the first keg by local dignitaries. On Friday, October 8, meet the brewers at the Dinner with the Brewer at O'Ryleigh's Tavern!




Bass Derby & Festival

Every year for the past 63 years, the town of Rio Vista, located on the Sacramento River, has held a Bass Fishing Derby in the waterways of the Sacramento Delta. As the oldest Bass Derby on the West Coast, the event draws over 1000 anglers who fish for Striped Bass in over 1000 miles of meandering delta waterways which stretch from the Benicia Bridge, to Stockton and Sacramento, following the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers.

The First Sip

This two-day weekend event offers an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in Lodi wines while traveling from winery to winery throughout the Appellation. Taste the First Sip of the 2010 vintage as well as new releases. Visit your favorite winery, explore new ones, meet local winemakers, tour vineyards and enjoy this delightful experience that Lodi Wine Country has to offer. With over 40 participating wineries, you are guaranteed to find a new favorite Lodi wine! Wineries will be hosting special activities including wine and food pairings, live music, blending seminars, vineyard tours and more. One ticket is valid for both Saturday and Sunday (must keep wristband on both days). Purchase advanced tickets and start at the participating winery of your choice. Tickets are $35 each in advance and $45 at the door of any participating winery. Ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable. Price includes a souvenir wine glass, wine tasting, and a map of all participating wineries.

15th Annual Parade of Lights

December 2, 2010

Time: 6:17pm

The Downtown Lodi Business Partnership presents the annual Parade of Lights – a magical holiday parade that illuminates the streets of downtown Lodi. The countless lights, floats, marching bands, dance groups and themed vehicles will entertain thousands of viewers on the first Thursday in December at 6:17 p.m. along the streets of downtown. The one-mile route begins on Pine Street and continues down Church Street, Lodi Avenue, School Street and Locust. A brilliantly lit horse-drawn carriage kicks off the festivities featuring the grand marshal. The spectacular parade concludes with holiday cheer from Santa Claus riding atop a Lodi fire truck. Over 50,000 people of all ages line the streets of downtown. The Downtown Lodi Business Partnership invites all to be part of this signature event, Parade of Lights, which has become a cherished family tradition.




The Judds "The Last Encore Tour 2010"

Country Music’s legendary duo, The Judds, delivered a riveting performance for over 10,000 fans in downtown Nashville as they launched this year’s 2010 CMA Music Festival. Wynonna and Naomi Judd helped kick off what USA Today calls “the crown jewel of Country Music festivals,” setting the stage for their highly anticipated final tour, The Judds: The Last Encore. It has been over 10 years since their 2000 “Power To Change” tour, and this final reunion promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
